Winterland Holiday Light Show 

November 24, 2017 to December 30, 2017  – Daily – Sunday-Thursday 6:00 p.m-9 p.m; Friday-Saturday 6:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m.

Join us in Ellis Park for Winterland! Admission is $10.00 per car, or $5.00 with a coupon (found on the Chamber website, Parks website, and the Chamber Facebook page).

 

Hendricks Symphony Presents Christmas Classics

December 15, 2017 ; 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm

Avon Middle School North – 192 N SR 267, Avon, IN 46123

The Hendricks Symphony Orchestra and Chorus under the direction of Benjamin G. Del Vecchio, with the Children’s Ballet of Danville will present a holiday concert of Christmas classics.The Orchestra and chorus open the concert with Mendelssohn’s beautiful “Von Himmel Hoch.” The chorus is then highlighted for several selections including “O Magnum Mysterium” and “Hallelujah Chorus” from Handel’s Messiah. Completing the first half of the program, The Children’s Ballet, Danville, joins the orchestra to perform several dances from Tchaikovsky’s “The Nutcracker.” Following intermission, the Hendricks Symphony Orchestra and Chorus perform several familiar Christmas pieces. Nutty Professors

Fans of Nutella® hazelnut spread are in for a treat in this program as a Park Naturalist discusses where nuts and fruits come from, and which ones are native to Indiana. Then discover your favorite combination of fruits, nuts, and chocolate as we all sample some mugs of flavored hot cocoa! Appropriate for all ages. Advance registration required by Dec. 28.
