Toyota Tundra Trim Levels

Toyota Tundra SR

The Tundra SR is where it all starts—and we’re off to a great start! This is a 2020 pickup that’s designed to get the job done, regardless of what the job is. That’s why it offers an available fully Integrated Trailer Brake Controller. This way, your truck and trailer brakes are 100% synchronized.

At the center of it all is a standard 5.7L i-FORCE V8 engine producing up to 381 horsepower and 401 lb-ft of torque. This all translates to a max towing capacity of up to 10,200 pounds, which is plenty of power to haul a 2-horse trailer with you.

One of the crowning features of this vehicle, though, is its standard Toyota Safety Sense™-P (TSS-P) system. This set of active safety features provides you with all sorts of bells and whistles to help you react to accidents before they happen. Here are the features you can expect from this safety suite:

• Lane Departure Alert

If you move up to the available Toyota Tundra SR5 trim, you’ll have the option to upgrade to an available 38-gallon fuel tank. With a larger fuel tank at your disposal, you’ll be able to achieve a much larger driving range.

In addition to that, though, this trim also brings with it quite a few stylistic upgrades that will make your truck stand out on the road. Just check out some of these features that come aboard this trim:

• Chrome Rear Bumper
• Chrome “TUNDRA” Badge (driver’s and front passenger doors)
• Gray Grille with Chrome Surround and Chrome Front Bumper Endcaps

This trim also adds some nice upgrades to your cabin with features like a standard Auto-Dimming Rearview mirror. This mirror automatically dims itself as it gets darker outside, so you don’t have to deal with glare from cars behind you while you’re driving at night.

Toyota Tundra Limited

Bump on up to the available Toyota Tundra Limited trim and you’ll be treated to some real comfort with a set of standard Leather-Trimmed and Heated Front Bucket Seats with 10-Way Power-Adjustable Driver’s Seat. You can easily customize your seating position thanks to a comprehensive interface that lets you fully customize the angle you’re sitting at.

Another great feature added by the Limited trim is a standard automatic dual zone climate control. This feature lets you choose a target temperature and your vehicle will change the fan speeds to reach that temperature as efficiently as possible. You can even set two different temperatures for the driver and front passenger, so everyone is happy.

Finally, this is the first trim that upgrades you to a standard set of 20-inch wheels. With the extra size of these wheels, you’ll enjoy much more comfort and control when you’re navigating uneven terrain.

Toyota Tundra Platinum

Then you’ve got the Toyota Tundra Platinum, which builds upon that suite of high-tech safety features with a Blind Spot Monitor (BSM) and a Rear Cross-Traffic Alert (RCTA). This feature uses sensors along the body of the truck to detect vehicles in your blind spot, so your truck is always watching your back.

In addition, this truck also comes standard with Front and Rear Parking Assist Sonar. If you’re trying to park and you start to come close to another vehicle or object, your truck will provide an audible warning. The warning will even get faster as you approach, so you can gauge distance with ease.

Finally, this trim upgrades your audio technology with a standard JBL® Premium Audio system with 12 speakers. With all these high-fidelity speakers placed throughout your cabin, you’ll hear all those little details inside your music.

Toyota Tundra 1794 Edition

To get ahold of a vehicle with some extra styling, look toward the Toyota Tundra 1794 Edition. This vehicle features a standard “1794 EDITION” badge on the driver’s and front passenger doors.

This trim also offers features like a Chrome Grille and Chrome Front Bumper Endcaps to give this vehicle a much more confident appearance. You’ll love how great you look while behind the wheel of this impressive trim.

Toyota Tundra TRD Pro

Off-road enthusiasts unite, the Toyota Tundra TRD Pro is here and it’s everything you need to kick up dirt along the trail. This vehicle boasts some serious off-road capabilities with its standard TRD Pro front and rear TRD FOX® shocks with remote reservoirs. This advanced suspension system will easily absorb the bumps along the trail.

If one of those bumps was a little larger than you expected, that’s okay, your truck can handle it thanks to the standard TRD Front Skid Plate. This feature adds protection to your undercarriage, so you may avoid damage while you’re crawling over some obstacles.

Your cabin will let your passengers know of the legacy of your truck with the standard Black TRD Pro leather-trimmed front bucket seats with red contrast stitching. This adds styling while accentuating the sense of power that your truck evokes.
