2019 Toyota Avalon: Performance Specs

Unlike some of the other sedans in its family, the 2019 Toyota Avalon is one of the few that comes standard with a 3.5L V6 engine. That’s how the car is able to produce 301 horsepower with such ease.

Of course, fuel economy is still a concern, especially with gas prices fluctuating. But the Avalon V6 comes with D-4S direction-injection and Variable Valve Timing-intelligent Wide to improve intake and exhaust and optimize fuel economy. That’s how the car maintains an EPA-estimated 32 MPG highway and 22 MPG city.1

Toyota designed the Avalon to complement that beefy engine with an aerodynamic ride that always feels smooth and controlled. Tangential vents on the side of its front bumper and special underbody panels ensure that air glides over and around it at all times.

Toyota Avalon Safety

The safety in the Toyota Avalon is equally as intelligent as the entertainment, especially with standard Toyota Safety Sense™ P(TSS-P).
