The 2022 Toyota Tundra comes roaring out of the gate with a choice of powerful engines. Going with the available i-FORCE 3.5L twin-turbo V6 engine will provide you with a power output of 389 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque. Generous with its power, this makes for an excellent engine to get you through the hills and valleys of your many journeys.

If you’ve got a craving for a monstrous power output, then the available i-FORCE MAX 3.5L twin-turbo V6 hybrid engine is just the one for you. Its power output clocks in at 437 horsepower and 583 lb-ft of torque. You’ll have no troubling conquering the roads from behind the wheel of this beast.

All the torque provided by these engines results in a vehicle that has a maximum towing capacity of 12,000 pounds when properly equipped. Aided by the Tundra’s driver-assistance tech, you’ll be able to easily connect your trailer or other large cargo and maintain a straight line as you back up or go forward.

Another great feature is Toyota’s Integrated Trailer Brake Controller (ITBC), which automatically senses when a trailer is connected and estimates its length and activates Trailer Merge Warning.
